Our First Mix + Mingle
Our first mix + mingle was a huge success. With an overwhelming amount of people who RSVP’d, we are likely to do another event since only a small handful were selected. We had a full house of people from all over (Raleigh, Southport, and Wilmington) who came to meet our designers, engineers, and houseboat team. There was a Q & A where interested buyers were able to receive detailed information on our houseboats before making a reservation.
Our reservation is a refundable deposit to secure a houseboat spot in our marina (we have only 91 houseboats being built so availability is filling up fast). They got VIP access to photos of our construction, as well as saw design swatches of the wood, paint, and cabinets, and a full explanation on the framework and durability of the houseboats from the engineers themselves. It was a fun way for people to not only learn more about the benefits of living on a houseboat, but bond with their potential future neighbors. Most importantly, we were thrilled to see the excitement from everyone in being involved in Wilmington’s first residential houseboat community.
